Your Role

Step into a diverse and rewarding role, delivering high-quality case management, group work, and therapeutic support to clients participating in our Day Recovery Program. As part of our team, you will play a key role in helping clients achieve their recovery goals and improve their overall well-being. You will be joining a compassionate and supportive team that values your expertise, prioritises your professional development, and empowers you to make a lasting difference in the community.

Your Responsibility

  • Provide case management across all stages: engagement, assessment, treatment planning, implementation, monitoring, review, and closure.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, education, and support aligned with the Society’s AOD Model of Care.
  • Conduct comprehensive client intake and assessments, including risk evaluations.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and implement holistic treatment plans tailored to their unique needs.
  • Facilitate therapeutic and educational group sessions.
  • Offer support to families and significant others, including education and referral to family support services.
  • Maintain accurate client records and participate in case reviews and team discussions.
  • Contribute to the ongoing planning, development, and evaluation of the Rendu House service model.
  • Network with external stakeholders and participate in quality improvement and accreditation activities.
  • Support new team members, volunteers, and students in their roles.

You Will Need 

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (or working towards) in Alcohol and Other Drugs, Community Services, Counselling, Psychology, or a related field (e.g., Certificate IV or Diploma).
  • Demonstrated experience in case management, particularly with clients with complex needs (e.g., co-occurring mental health issues, homelessness, or criminal justice involvement).
  • Strong knowledge of community resources and ability to collaborate effectively with other service providers.
  • Professional, ethical, and non-judgmental approach to client interactions.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer literacy and experience with data collection systems.
  • Valid NSW driver’s licence (unencumbered).
