Your Role

The Gifts in Wills Coordinator will support the growth of the Gift in Wills portfolio by building a sustainable bequest development program. Your role will include cultivating and soliciting Gifts in Wills prospects to support the Society’s fundraising objectives. This role involves working in a busy environment where your ability to maintain focus on a variety of activities and schedules is very important. 

Your Responsibility

  • Manage a pipeline of confirmed bequestors and potential benefactors through strategic stewardship and conversion program.
  • Coordinate Gifts in Wills mailing, digital and nurturing programs to all prospects, potential and confirmed Bequestors, Honorary Solicitors and Persons of Interest.
  • Maintain timely and accurate records in the Society’s database and produce relevant reports.
  • Work with other internal teams to run a series of targeted events at various sites.
  • Plan and organise speaking engagements aimed at encouraging new bequests.

You Will Need

  • Relevant qualifications in marketing or business; experience in Gifts in Wills or a similar donor development role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing practices and procedures for stewardship and growth of GIW donors.
  • Demonstrated ability in project and operational coordination to oversee effective implementation of initiatives.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship skills; proven ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Current NSW Driver Licence.
