Your Role 

As the Member and Volunteer Learning Support Officer you will support new and ongoing member & volunteer programs activities, with a focus on high quality systems and training support for members, volunteers and employees. You will also support the development and delivery of current and existing member and volunteer programs across the state.

Your Responsibility 

  • Assist with the delivery of tailored learning solutions for technical and core learning initiatives for members and volunteers that integrate with organisational needs, to deliver required learning outcomes.
  • Support Member and Volunteer Learning Coordinators with the creation of Learning Needs Analyses through the design and creation of targeted tools and resources.
  • Support state-wide roll out and support of key new and emerging projects across the Directorate, with a specific focus on member and volunteer support.
  • Monitor email inboxes and provide timely responses in relation to member and volunteer learning and programs.
  • Undertake monitoring and updating of Member and Volunteer learning system (MAVS Portal) to ensure compliance reporting for members and volunteers is accurate.
  • Assist with the preparation of learning material including PowerPoint presentations and participant workbooks, user guides and feedback survey material.
  • Contribute to the successful implementation of the Strategic Plan within their team.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders across the state to ensure new projects are taken up and feedback is timely and appropriately acted upon.  
  • Undertake other support tasks as required to support the learning needs of members and volunteers across the Society in NSW.

You Will Need:

  • Relevant qualification/s in communications, human services, social work or other relevant field, or equivalent experience in developing learning tools and presentations for diverse audiences
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills across a range of mediums
  • Proven project support skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Relevant experience in a project-based work environment, delivering learning modules and designing learning for diverse audiences
  • Ability to learn new systems and platforms quickly and provide technical support to facilitators and participants
  • Driver's licence & ability/willingness to travel around NSW
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
