Your Role

The Greater Metro Warehouse Manager role is full-time based in Auburn and will report to the Manager of Statewide Logistics.  This role will oversee the warehouse operations in Auburn and Brookvale, including the receiving, picking, dispatching, and storage of goods; ensuring security of stock and resources.  The candidate best fit for this role will have proven warehousing operations knowledge and experience, as well as good people leadership skills.

Your Responsibility

  • Manage a team of warehouse supervisors to deliver operational and financial outcomes on sites
  • Lead, coach train direct reports and other warehouse staff members
  • Ensure the efficient warehouse operations relating to supply, storage and distribution of donated goods
  • Ensure work health and safety policies and procedures are implemented and complied with at all times
  • Manage the security of resources at the warehouse including vehicles and equipment
  • Implement housekeeping procedures to maintain general cleanliness at the sites
  • Prepare budgets, analyse financial reports and performance of sites against budgets.

You Will Need

  • Demonstrated extensive experience in managing a warehouse or distribution centre
  • Proven effective people management skills
  • High level of organisational and time management skills; accuracy and attention to details.
  • Good understanding of financial figures/reports.
  • Soung knowledge of inventory/ inventory controls
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft suite)
  • Current NSW Driver Licence
  • Current Forklift Licence
