The Program Coordinator at Sunbury Neighbourhood House (SNH) will undertake a 26-week part-time contract, working 18 hours per week, with a primary focus on coordinating current and future programs, workshops, events, and room bookings.

Reporting to the SNH Manager, the Program Coordinator will ensure that all programs align with the SNH strategic plan and funding agreements. Key responsibilities include scheduling programs, managing resources, evaluating program effectiveness, and maintaining participant databases.

The role also involves promoting SNH activities through various media, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity.

Operational duties include:

  • Managing room hire inquiries
  • Participating in policy reviews
  • Staying updated with compliance regulations
  • Supporting SNH staff

The Coordinator will also represent SNH at community events and provide daily assistance to participants and facilitators.

Essential qualifications:

  • A diploma in Community Services or equivalent experience
  • Excellent ICT skills
  • Strong understanding of community services

The position offers a salary according SCHADS Award and conditions to the Neighbourhood House and Adult Community Education Centres Collective Agreement 2016.
