Delivering high quality and highly valued support means that the people we currently support are sharing their experiences with others, because we currently have more referrals than Support Coordinators!

We are looking for experienced and passionate Support Coordinators / Recovery Coaches to support people living on the Gold Coast and in Logan who can start quickly and deliver high quality SC / RC supports to new and existing participants.

A day in the life of a Support Coordinator / Recovery Coach:

  • Build rapport and really understand each person (and their family and supporters) and their needs and expectations.
  • Support people in ways which build capacity and bolsters confidence in self-directedness.
  • Support people to understand and implement their NDIS plan.
  • Assist people to explore their options and connect with services and supports they feel are a good match for them.
  • Read, write reports and assist with plan reviews & change of circumstances submission.
  • Continue to develop your knowledge of the NDIS legislation, operational guidelines and of the NDIS processes.

Essential Requirements:

  • Alignment to Sunnyside Australia values.
  • Passion, passion and more passion.
  • Experienced in Support Coordination / Recovery Coaching.
  • Diploma or higher relevant qualification.
  • Ability to successfully acquire NDIS Worker Screening Check, Blue Card & National Police Check.
  • Current Australian driver's licence and a roadworthy, insured vehicle registered in QLD.
  • Experience in administration, time management, computers, CRMs.
  • An ability to connect, build professional relationships, show empathy and build capacity.
  • Be able to give and receive feedback and engage in professional practice reflection.
  • Right to live and work in Australia.
