Remote / Work from Home
This is a full time position designed to coordinate the delivery of our Mental Health and Wellbeing prevention, education, and training programs. This role will be part of our Mental Health and Wellbeing team, providing coordination of our in-person and online training programs and events for the Australian music industry. The position will report to the National Programs Manager, and work closely with the Wellbeing Content and Programs Lead/Psychologist.
We are seeking a highly organised individual with excellent communication skills, who can work independently in a fast-paced environment. You will be working with music businesses, sole traders and the music community to deliver our Mentally Healthy Workplaces Program and our Public Access Programs. You will also work closely with our Wellbeing Content and Programs Lead/Psychologist and Communications team to plan and promote our programs.
Empathy, resilience, and the highest standards of professional integrity are essential. This is a work from home role, with some local and interstate travel required, including to Australian music conferences.
An interest in and appreciation of Australian music is highly desirable.
Support Act is the heart and hand of the Australian music industry.
We are the music industry's charity, providing crisis relief, and mental health & wellbeing support to musicians, managers, crew, music workers and organisations across all genres of music.
We deliver this through short term financial support; funeral support; mental health prevention, education and training programs; the Mentally Healthy Workplaces Program; and the Support Act Wellbeing Helpline.
Support Act is an industry leader in cultural and behavioural change, and we strive to create a safe and thriving music industry for all, including dedicated culturally intelligent support for First Nations music workers.
