The Position

This position sits within the Social, Community and Administration Employee Level 6 Salary Band of the St Vincent de Paul Society, Canberra Goulburn Enterprise Agreement 2023. Equating to a base hourly rate ranging from $53.84 to $56.22 per hour.

Bring your energy and drive to this pivotal opportunity as the Quality Improvement Specialist, you will report to the Chief Operating Officer, actively promoting a culture of continuous quality improvement to operations, systems and processes for the organisation, including our processes to safeguard vulnerable people. Working directly with and supporting leaders and managers through the development and implementation of continuous quality improvement processes and coordinating the organisation’s efforts to maintain external accreditation against quality recognised standards. This position is available now. 

About You

To be successful you will see this role as more than just a job, bringing your specialist expertise and leadership capacity in continuous improvement or quality management, with demonstrated strong project management experience and business analysis skills. You will possess a proven ability to collaborate, share knowledge and influence strategic outcomes through your consultative approach.

You will have proven ability to develop policy and procedure documents, process workflows, business case documents, accreditation reporting, and support audit processes.

Employment is contingent upon undergoing a National Criminal History Check and obtaining a current Working with Vulnerable People Card (WWVP).

Your Qualifications

Formal Accreditation or solid experience related to any set of quality standards is essential. Related qualifications with proven experience working in a multi-faceted charity will be highly regarded.
