This newly created role is an outstanding opportunity to join the Youth Collective Impact Team (YCIT) and provide administrative support to allow the team to delivery of engaging and impactful programs to inspire, develop and empower young people to achieve their potential.

The YCIT creates and delivers projects to inspire, develop and empower young people to achieve their potential. The YCIT is a small but impactful team, we have an encouraging team culture that is focussed on ensuring that all background/administrative preparation involving a broad range of skillsets and stakeholders will result in delivering a wide range of successful events, workshops and programs involving 25 to 2,000 participants

You are a highly organised, efficient, responsive, proactive professional with strong administration and customer service skills gained in an office/projects/events environment looking to join a community organisation that helps local young people to discover better pathways.
You have a genuine interest and commitment to the SWC values in improving the social, physical and mental well-being of young people and relevant support training and development will be provided to help you achieve this.
Your success and progression will be directly linked to your positive attitude, flexible approach and willingness to learn, develop, achieve and contribute to the team. The guidance and coaching provided means there is ample opportunity to develop and broaden your skillset and progress into other roles across SWC.
The primary purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to enable the YCIT to successfully deliver SWC events, programs and projects for young people and their families to inspire, develop and empower young people to achieve their potential.
In this position you will work in harmony with experienced team members to ensure that SWC delivers initiatives that encourage young people’s active participation in education, careers and civic life and promote their health and wellbeing.
As a valued member of our team, your contribution is crucial in helping us to achieve these outcomes.
Experience and understanding of working with young people and community stakeholders would be an advantage, however, a positive attitude to develop, contribute and succeed are essential.

This is an ideal role if you have recently completed a qualification in administration, social media engagement or events/project management or if you have worked in part time roles with transferable skills.
You will be guided and mentored by the Senior Projects Coordinator and managed by the Head of Strategic Development.
