That really matters. And so do you.

Your impact, where you’re really needed.

As our highly valued Program Coordinator within the Mental Health and Alcohol and other Drugs Team you will use your passion to improve mental health and AOD outcomes for the community to lead initiatives that create positive change region wide.

You’ll make an impact at scale by:

  • Leading a portfolio of work, within the mental health and alcohol and other drugs team that aims to address the unmet primary care needs of individuals who experience barriers to accessing supports appropriate for their need.
  • Using your highly developed communication and interpersonal skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Implementing commissioning activities including co-design, procurement, monitoring and evaluation.
  • Being actively involved in region wide mental health and suicide prevention planning and implementation of activities that work towards ensuring high quality, integrated, responsive and consumer-centred mental health services.

What you’ll bring

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience and/or knowledge of primary mental health-sector and the importance of integrated service delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience and/or an understanding of commissioning and contract management.
  • Extensive track record of high level internal and external stakeholder engagement and development of partnerships on a regional level.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and coordinating innovative approaches to change in regional systems.
  • Ability to lead a project including development of a business case, program planning, budgeting, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
