The Youth Transition Support Worker (YTSW) is part of the organisation’s Community Engagement Division and is funded through the Youth In Transition Support Program. This position will provide targeted support services for newly arrived young migrants and refugees aged (15–24 years) to transition from education to employment opportunities, leading to engagement and community connectedness. Young migrants and refugees with complex needs who have arrived in Australia more than five years ago will be eligible for the program. The YTSW will facilitate pathways to address disengagement and marginalisation and promote social cohesion.
This position will be fixed term part-time 3 days a week (21 hours) until the 26th June 2020.
