Take Two is a state-wide service providing high quality therapeutic services to children and young people who have suffered significant abuse, neglect or disrupted attachment and are clients of Child Protection. We work with the traumatised child, and with their caregivers, families and communities. We help them understand the child’s trauma, and how it’s impacting their development and behaviours. This role is positioned at Njernda Aboriginal Corporation. Njernda Aboriginal Corporation is in Northern Victoria and is within the traditional lands of the Yorta Yorta Nation and aims to deliver community controlled, holistic services and programs which improve the physical, emotional, cultural and spiritual wellbeing of the Aboriginal community of Echuca and surrounding areas in Victoria.

This role includes:
We are seeking a qualified Clinician who has relevant tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work or a related discipline. You will have a sound understanding of the complexities of the service system, a demonstrated ability to provide direct service in the clinical assessment and treatment of young people and families, and a sound understanding and demonstrated ability to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families and workers.
