Tandem was established in 1994 and is proud to be the trusted voice of family, carers and supporters in mental health in Victoria.
As the Victorian peak body with a sole focus on the needs and interests of mental health carers, Tandem’s role is to provide leadership, coordination and knowledge for the organisations and individuals who are working to improve outcomes for Victorian people living with mental health challenges, their family, carers and supporters.
Tandem is committed to ensuring that the importance of the contribution, expertise, experiences and needs of family, carers and supporters is recognised and addressed, and that they will be essential partners in recovery, service governance and delivery, planning, research, and evaluation.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team, as Tandem partners with the CLEW network, and has an impact on the implementation of mental health reforms across Victoria. This Co-Lead role will increase the capacity and capability of CLEW and Tandem to work in collaboration with 7 partner agencies to engage with the reform agenda and programs of work related to the lived experience workforce strategy, planning and structure with an emphasis on how it assists the development of the family carer lived and living experience workforce.
