Tangentyere Council Aboriginal Corporation (TCAC) is a community controlled Public Benevolent Institution delivering human services and social enterprise activities for the benefit of Aboriginal people from the Alice Springs Town Camps, urban Alice Springs, and Central Australia.
First incorporated in 1979, the organisation was a finalist in the 2016 Reconciliation Australia, Indigenous Governance Awards and is one of the 10 largest Aboriginal Corporations in Australia.

Tangentyere Aged & Community Services (TACS) is part of the Family Safety & Social Services Division, which aims to improve the quality of life of Central Australian Aboriginal people and the wider community through providing innovative, responsive, and culturally safe services.
TACS provide CHSP, HCP, NDIS & Chronic Disease home care & centre-based services to an extremely diverse and vulnerable cohort of people, where health is more often secondary to other social determinants. With more than 7 languages spoken and over 100 clients, TACS continues to uphold quality service provision and maintains its strong ties with members of the Alice Springs and wider community.
The Registered Nurse position requires strong clinical leadership, administrative skills, knowledge of normal Ageing and the impact of Chronic Disease on people. This role supports the local community and the promotion and restoration of client health and wellbeing. The position requires the ability to undertake comprehensive clinical assessments, critically analyse findings and collaborate with external stakeholders to provide person-centred supports to clients. In addition, this position will provide support to employees as they assist clients to achieve better health outcomes.
This position can be offered at permanent part time at the request of the applicant and there is also potential for the role to be flexible by virtual means (the applicant may not have to be based in Alice Springs) as determined by the Council.
