Position Overview

As a social worker in our Health Justice Partnership, you'll assist individuals with mental health conditions, collaborating with a solicitor in a dual service delivery model. Acknowledging barriers like mobility issues, safety concerns, limited knowledge, cultural stigma, language hurdles, and hospitalisation, our person-centred approach ensures legal assistance is accessible by providing services within health-related settings.

Your duties involve maintaining the Mental Health Justice partnership, creating awareness and referral pathways, and establishing alliances with service providers. You'll provide short to medium-term casework and referral options, facilitating clients' access to TASC legal services, thus enhancing their life circumstances and overall well-being.

With a focus on upholding individuals' rights to live safely and inclusively, you'll also engage with the community to raise awareness about mental health issues and promote preventive measures.
