We are currently searching for dedicated home care support workers to assist older clients in the community. Your responsibilities will revolve around preserving their independence at home and enriching their quality of life.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide in-home personal care, assisting with daily living activities such as showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, and laundry & ironing.
  • Deliver personalised care aligned with each client's unique Care Plan.
  • Monitoring and reporting any changes in the client's health or behaviour.
  • Working as a team to create a positive experience for our clients.
  • Provide support with transportation needs, helping with shopping trips and appointments, to empower active community participation.

Requirements:

  • Must possess a current driver's license and your own vehicle.
  • A willingness to travel to clients' homes within the specified service locations. Such as Kingsgrove, Oatley, Penshurst, Sans Souci, and the Innerwest.
  • You must possess clear verbal communication skills that are easy to understand, enabling effective communication with our elderly clients.
  • A genuine passion for helping older individuals maintain their independence.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to foster strong relationships with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Reliability and a commitment to delivering high-quality care to ensure our clients can continue living in their own homes.
  • Flexibility in working hours and approach. We strive to align our team members' availability with the needs of our clients.
  • A Certificate 3, 4, or diploma in Aged Care, Home Care, Disability, or a related field.
  • Possess the ability to thoroughly review and accurately document care plans.
  • Experience in using mobility aids and assisting with client hoisting is advantageous.
