The Benevolent Society’s vision is to build a just society where all Australians can live their best life. For more than 200 years we have supported people at the margins of society: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians; children, young people, and their families; older people; carers and people with disability. We are an independent, non-religious service provider which supports people to live life their way.
As part of The Benevolent Society's vision, we are strongly committed to reconciliation with our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people of Australia. We remain steadfast in our commitment to promoting the economic, political, and social inclusion of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Our Early Years Centres are community hubs offering child health services, supported playgroups, family support and early childhood education whilst focusing on early intervention and prevention to ultimately empower children and families. We are a supportive, multidisciplinary team with a broad range of early childhood teachers and educators, social workers, midwives, child health nurses and allied health qualified professionals committed to high quality work providing wrap around early intervention services.
As our Case Manager, you will manage a client caseload referred by government and non-government organisations as well as self-referrals from families. You will work in partnership with families to assess strengths, needs and risks, develop, implement, and periodically review case plans as well as make referrals that successfully link families to appropriate networks with an emphasis on building resilience and promoting stronger attachments.
We support people to live their best life. That includes you, our employee. A ‘best life’ is unique to everyone and can change as life changes:
