Our Family Referral Service (FRS) brings together families, support services, and community resources to prevent a difficult situation from escalating to a crisis requiring a statutory response from the child protection system.

Your New Role

As our Senior Social Worker you will have a reduced case load! You are part of our area management team with exposure to a wide range of leadership areas. You will run our Sharing Practice Groups to promote self-care and practice excellence. With the support of the Manager you will train new case managers and support the team to build their assessment, case management and therapeutic interventions capacity.

Terms: This is a 4 days Part Time position based in Broadmeadow, NSW.

What you need to succeed?

As an experienced Senior Case Worker, Family Worker or Case Manager you will have

  • Experience identifying and addressing child protection concerns
  • Holistic strengths based approach to achieve lasting change
  • Capacity to engage with people from all cultures and walks of life
  • A tertiary (degree) qualification in Community Services, Social Work or related discipline
  • Current driver’s license (pool cars are available)
