About the role
Backfilling parental leave and covering our Milton site, this role will lead a team of three staff as well as covering the administration tasks at our busy Milton Office. As our Administration Team Leader, you will lead and coordinate administration services across our Milton, Loganholme and Caboolture sites delivering Child Youth and Family Services. In this varied and busy role, you will ensure each site is managed efficiently and effectively by regularly visiting your team, interacting with the operational Managers and Team Leaders of our services and ensuring a welcoming space for all clients. As Milton Office Administrator you will be providing top-notch administrative support to staff and visitors to keeping our services operating smoothly and efficiently, you'll be at the heart of it all.
Duties
- Coordinate the delivery of administration services within your sites, ensuring that services are timely and effective
- Manage a team of staff to ensure administration services are professional and effective across the area and/or program and internal customers receive the level of support required
- Spend a couple of days each week travelling between sites to support the administration team and programs
- Based at reception you will be the face of our Milton Office, expertly greeting clients and handling incoming calls and inquiries with finesse.
- Be the backbone of our team by providing invaluable administration support, keeping operations running smoothly and efficiently.
- Take charge of coordinating meeting rooms, fleet vehicles, and maintenance tasks, ensuring everything is in perfect order for seamless operations.
- Contribute to and drive projects across the sites, programs or organisation as required

Skills and Experience
- Two years previous experience working in a similar administrative / management support role and previous experience leading a small team of administration staff
- Great attention to detail, with the ability to question the pieces that are missing
- Demonstrated experience in a broad range of administrative procedures and systems
- Demonstrated problem solving skills, well developed time management and organisational skills
- Ability to use a range of software applications including Office, Outlook, Teams and customer databases
- Strong customer service focus with the desire to provide a welcome environment for visitors and staff
- The ability to balance multiple tasks and manage competing priorities effectively
- The ability to identify sensitive information and maintain appropriate levels of privacy
- The ability to work autonomously while remaining connected to the team and contribute to team outcomes
- Certificate III in business administration or similar desirable
- Current driver's license is essential!
