Your Impact
Make a difference by leading a team dedicated to improving the conditions for renters. The Renter Support Services Manager will be responsible for driving and supporting integrated practice across the Client Services Team. Providing practice leadership and expert advice to the team of financial counsellors, social workers on complex cases requiring a multi-disciplinary approach.

The Role
As a strategic leader, the primary purpose of this role will be responsible for fostering relationships that advances the integrated practice model, drives practice innovation and contributes to creating an exciting and engaging environment conducive to providing life-changing experiences for law, social work and financial counselling.
- Provide leadership, supervision and guidance to our financial counselling staff and social work employees to deliver quality outcomes.
- Establish systems and processes to guide integrated practice and track progress, including developing clear processes for partnership engagement, communication and dispute resolution.
- Build the capability of the team to deliver integrated functions and services.
- Where appropriate jointly manage a small caseload of complex and/or highly sensitive cases. Co-working with and providing support as required.
- Seek opportunities to expand the integrated practice and support partners to develop expansion opportunities to other disciplines and/or further build on existing integrated practices.
- Contribute to research and work that promotes the integrated practice model, including evaluation projects and input into relevant submissions
Who are you?
The ideal person for this role is a confident leader with a passion for social justice and a deep understanding of integrated practice approaches. You will preferably have demonstrated leadership experience in social and community service, housing, justice, or government settings.
You will bring:
- Demonstrated 3+ years experience leading high performing teams ideally in social work, financial counselling or relevant discipline.
- An adaptable leadership style to inspire and manage a diverse team of professionals
- Demonstrated program coordination experience, including development of systems and processes, and continuous improvement of those systems.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and a flexible approach to managing conflicting priorities and approach
- Knowledge or experience in working in an integrated practice or multidisciplinary environment
- Evidence of a collaborative, team-based approach to work
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
