The Opportunity
A PhD scholarship is now available for a suitably qualified individual to undertake research studies related to drowning prevention in India.The successful PhD candidate will collaborate with key stakeholders to understand the epidemiology and context of drowning, co-develop drowning prevention interventions, related health economics and policy studies.

Eligibility
- A UNSW Bachelor degree with first or upper second class Honours from UNSW; or
- A completed Master by Research from UNSW with a substantial research component and demonstrated capacity for timely completion of a high-quality research thesis; or
- A completed Master’s by Coursework provided the coursework results are at least high distinction; or
- An equivalent qualification from a tertiary institution as determined by the Faculty Higher Degree Committee (HDC); or
- Qualifications >5 years ago with substantial research experience and strong references; or
- International candidates must meet the UNSW entry requirement - International Students Entry requirements
Award Amount
TGI will support the applicant in enrolling into a PhD degree, as well as support in obtaining scholarship via UNSW.
In case of tuition fee scholarship, a stipend to the value of $35,000 per annum for 3 years, from TGI will be considered.
