Mai-Wel is looking to recruit Direct Support Workers to work across our organisation, supporting people with disability in all areas of life, from assistance with daily living to community access, supporting job seekers with a disability to transition into employment and to live life the way they choose.
We’re looking for a certain kind of individual; individuals who are passionate about assisting people with disability to achieve their goals, however big or small they may be.
This job is perfect for you if you:
As a Support Worker with Mai-Wel, your duties will vary from day to day, however one thing you can be sure of is that the support you provide to participants of Mai-Wel’s programs and services is making a difference in someone’s life, a family unit, and our community.
There’s a few ‘desirable’ skills we’d like you to have, but don’t sweat! As a Support Worker with Mai-Wel, there’s training and support available to you during your employment, so you can take comfort in knowing that your skills and knowledge will always be at the level necessary to provide support to the people at the core of our organisation.
