ABOUT THE ROLE
- Part-time role working Monday to Wednesday, 8:30am - 3pm.

- Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager
- Working in a multi-disciplinary team
As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and staff, providing them with friendly and professional assistance. You will also be responsible for various administrative tasks, such as managing correspondence, recording data, ordering supplies, and supporting our emergency relief program.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Answering the phones professionally and courteously, including providing an accurate record of phone messages via email and ensuring they are delivered to the relevant staff member promptly.
- Providing a friendly first point of contact for all clients and visitors contacting the office.
- Assisting in the intake process for potential clients.
- Supporting our emergency relief program.
- General office duties, including maintaining office supplies and client database.
- Undertake clerical-type duties relevant to the position.
THE PERSON
You will have a proven track record of providing receptionist and administrative support, as well as a good working knowledge and commitment to community services.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A Certificate III in Community Services or related qualification and/or substantial experience in a similar role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Action-oriented, exceptional time management and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated experience in providing administrative support and general reception duties.
- Experience with challenges facing financially disadvantaged clients and relevant referral pathways.
- A high standard of personal integrity, with a commitment to client confidentiality.
- Ability to work with and empower people with respect and sensitivity, without judgment or discrimination.
ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA
- Minimum one year of receptionist experience.
- Demonstrated experience responding to clients as the first point of contact within an organisation.
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong customer service work ethic, displaying emotional intelligence and resilience to deal with a diverse client base.
- National Police Clearance.
- Working with Children Check.
- Possession of current unrestricted driver's licence.
