Ordinary Board Members are essential to the success of Tiny Pride, bringing expertise and reach in relation to supporting Tiny Pride’s performance and future growth as non-executive board members. Ordinary Board members are responsible for:
All board members are required to agree to adhere to the Board Terms of Reference which set out the key expectations and behaviour of Board members.
The world is changing and Tiny Pride is committed to bridging the gap between the lived experience of LGBTIQA+ people and the rest of the community to create a more inclusive future.
We do this by giving you the tools and skills to become better allies through change facilitation and resources.
Through our ongoing relationships and mentorship we educate, support and empower organisations to be better connected and inclusive.
Our approach is grounded in the best research and evidence, as well as experiences from the people that work with us about what enables change.
Tiny Pride was established as a not for profit in November 2021.

Community
The voice of our community is at the centre of everything we do, and we demonstrate respect for the intersections across the whole of our rainbow community.

We are deeply committed to our community and delivering positive change for LGBTIQA+ people. We show up and we deliver, especially in times when our community needs us the most.

We believe that it is only by working together that we can create better outcomes for LGBTIQA+ community. This includes drawing on lived experience, LGBTIQA+ experts in their field and those people and organisations who walk alongside us as allies. We will do this in a respectful way to deliver positive outcomes.
Empowerment
We empower our allies to make change and to support our goal of a more inclusive future in a world where we realise the benefits of equality for the LGBTIQA+ community. We will do this work with deep integrity and set direction as stewards for positive change for our people.
All applicants must hold a current Working With Children’s Check, with a preferred nominee to undergo a National Police Check.
This position is voluntary an will require approximately 8 hours volunteer time per month.
