Tomorrow Movement’s focus is using the power of young people to push for politically popular solutions to the big problems we face: climate, cost of living, housing and more. In 2025, we are rolling out our first ever fellowship, a program that will train 10-20 young people in key organising skills and put ambitious solutions on the agenda of the federal MP in their area.
To run the fellowship we are hiring 3 - 4 distributed organisers across the country to coordinate the program in their local area. Starting in January 2025, they will run in person weekly fellowship sessions in their area and receive training support and mentoring, focusing on facilitation skills and team building. Distributed organisers will attend and facilitate opening and closing fellowship gatherings, support actions on the ground and have a strong understanding of community organising. The organisers will work closely with the Campaigns Lead and will be supported by the National Director.
We are a movement of young people fighting for a society with good jobs, great public services and a safe climate for all. We are organising young people all over the country to win a tomorrow that works for everyone, not just big business.
Tomorrow Movement is a project of YOUNG Campaigns Ltd. a charity registered with the ACNC.
This role will require flexible working arrangements including evening work. The distributed organisers will be required to regularly work 1 weekday, preferably Wednesdays, using the rest of their hours distributed across the Thursday evening sessions and weekend work. Do apply even if you cannot meet these requirements, changes can be made for the right candidates.
