Communication and Digital Marketing Manager - Flexible Location

  • Location: Sydney or any other TBF location (Western Sydney, Wollongong or Central Coast)

Role Purpose

The Communication and Digital Marketing Specialist has three key responsibilities:

  • To promote and increase awareness of the Top Blokes brand, programs and fundraising initiatives
  • To create, lead and optimise our marketing, campaign and communication strategies
  • Increase digital engagement including acquisition and conversion, to lead all marketing and branding activities and lead all marketing and fundraising campaigns alongside the Head of Fundraising and Marketing

The role will lead the marketing strategy across branding, digital and communications. The role will need to work collaboratively with all internal and external key stakeholders to ensure growth, innovation and KPIs are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Marketing:

  • Design, implement, optimise and evaluate all digital marketing campaigns and activities to achieve marketing and fundraising KPIs
  • Manage all marketing software including website, EDM’s, Google Adwords, Google Analytics
  • SEO and social media to ensure all externally facing channels and brand representation is current and working optimally
  • Develop all creative assets to achieve successful digital campaigns
  • Keep informed of digital marketing strategies and trends

Marketing and Branding:

  • Actively build and manage all branding activities
  • Design and implement fundraising and marketing campaigns across key target groups
  • Working alongside the fundraising team to implement the annual signature campaign
  • Develop all required marketing materials to improve brand and increase donations
  • Secure patrons and ambassadors to support fundraising efforts
  • Managing the application of brand guidelines across the organisation

Communications:

  • Lead all communication activities across online, offline and media
  • Achieve proactive positive media across local, state and national channels
  • Procure and create compelling content to deliver against the content plan
  • Collate briefs and procure suppliers as required

Planning and Administration:

  • Manage the marketing budget and ensure no budget over-spend
  • Monitor and analyse results against KPI’s and prepare forecasts and reports as required

Essential Criteria

  • 4+ years’ experience in marketing and or fundraising
  • Track record of exceeding KPI’s (financial and non-financial)
  • Proven ability in running and optimising digital marketing campaigns
  • Demonstrated experience of leading creative and stand-out multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Sound skills in creating and coordinating state and national media opportunities
  • Proficiency in electronic marketing automation software and in analysing the data to inform improved results
  • Proven experience in leading and protecting organisation’s brand
  • Experience within the NFP and Government sectors
  • Strong oral and written communication including presentation skills
  • Strong time management and organisational Skills
  • Ability to multi task with competing priorities

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Based from either Sydney (Greater Sydney), Brisbane, Wollongong or Central Coast
  • Interest in supporting young men’s health and wellbeing

Please note, this position is full-time however we will consider a 4-day / week position for the right person.
