Trentwood at the Hub is a vibrant Neighbourhood House in Balwyn North, co-located with other community organisations at the Greythorn Community Hub.

We are looking for a highly motivated team player who will work with the Community House Coordinator to develop and promote an interesting program of activities that meets the needs of the local community and encourages community participation. The role will be responsible for marketing, including print and digital advertising and promotions, and planning and delivering community events and projects in partnership with co-located tenants and key local organisations.

Areas of Accountability include:

• Working with the Neighbourhood House Coordinator to ensure the successful delivery of the Neighbourhood House program, and support the day to day operations of the Neighbourhood House and Community Hub
• Creating promotional and advertising material including term brochures, website updates and social media posts
• Manage all regular and ad hoc room hiring
• Support local community groups to have access to suitable meeting rooms and spaces
• Support and develop collaborative relationships with ongoing hire groups
• Support and develop productive relationships/partnerships with community groups, organisations and businesses within the local area.
• Support and develop new initiatives which meet community needs, and promote and encourage access and participation in the Community Hub
• Continue collaborative relationships with co-located tenants and plan and implement joint programs and events
