As a Clinical Development nurse or midwife, you need a postgraduate Child and Family Health qualification; and a Certificate IV Training and Assessment or willingness to complete within 12-18 months of position commencement.
You would be working in a supportive learning environment scaffolded by a team of Nurse Educators and Clinical Nurse Educators (NSW equivalent to Clinical Development Nurse/Midwife) under the direction of the QEII Centre Manager and Director, Workforce Learning & Development.

Selection Criteria
- Current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse/Midwife with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Postgraduate /post registration qualifications in Child and Family Health with a minimum of 3 years full time experience working in the specialty
- Demonstrated skills in clinical teaching and facilitation including the demonstrated knowledge and use of adult learning principles
- Demonstrated commitment to own professional development and of others
- Minimum Certificate IV Training and Assessment or willingness to complete within 12-18 months of position commencement
- Demonstrated understanding and commitment to evidence-based practice and ability to apply this to education practice
- Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and independently
- Able to demonstrate competency in Microsoft office and computer technology relevant to the role
Prior to commencement successful candidates will be required to:
- Undergo a pre-employment National Police Check
- Comply with ACT Health Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination clinical procedure
