The Eaglehawk Thrift shop has an amazing array of items to peruse through! From clothing, shoes, books, jewelry to furniture, bric-a-brac, pictures and more! Stock is always changing!
All goods are donated locally by the people of the Eaglehawk community. While raising funds for the work of The Salvation Army, the Thrift Shop is also a wonderful link with the community. Customers enjoy seeing a friendly face and having a chat with the staff.
We are currently seeking a values-driven and proactive Assistant Thrift Shop Manager to oversee and assists in leading the operations of the Eaglehawk store. Responsibilities include:
Reporting to the Thrift Shop Manager this position is located at Marong Road, Ironbark.
This is a part time position, 15 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to supervise and run the store on Saturdays as well as provide additional back up to the current manager throughout the week (if required).
Salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Retail Industry Award Level 4.
This position requires the successful candidate to have the physical ability to safely stand, sit, walk regularly and for long periods of time, push, pull, lift, carry & restrain, climb ladders, and use computer mouse and eftpos machine and undertake other inherent requirements of the role.
