A unique opportunity to provide support to survivors of trafficking and slavery at Australia's only Trafficking and Slavery Safe House has become available.
The Safe House provides accommodation support and outreach case management to men, women, young people and families living in the community who have experienced trafficking & modern slavery, including forced marriage.
The Safe House works collaboratively with a person-centred, strengths-based and trauma-informed approach to service delivery to ensure the best outcome for all who seek our assistance.
We are currently seeking a values-driven and proactive Case Manager to provide case management support in an accommodation service setting including assessment and referral, case planning and client advocacy. Other key responsibilities include:
Reporting to the Program Manager, this position is located at a confidential address in metropolitan Sydney.
This is a full-time position, 38 hours per week fixed term for 6 months (possibility to extend to ongoing beyond this period).
Salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010, Crisis Accommodation Employee, Level 2.
