The role you could play

We are seeking a dedicated Business Manager! You will be responsible to manage the effective business administration and logistical functions that support the work and advancement of all Corps ministry expressions, programs and operations.

Duties

  • Develop and continue to foster a supportive Administration team to support the ministry and operations of central Vic Salvos
  • Work with the Central Vic Salvos leadership team on budget preparations and submissions
  • Plan logistics and operations for the successful running of fundraising events, including The Red Shield Appeal
  • Manage the end-to-end administrational process for volunteer recruitment and onboarding as delegated by the Corps Officer - Team Leader
  • Liaise with THQ/DHQ WHS and Property teams as required
  • Ensure development of strategic Business Services model to support the ongoing growth of the Central Vic Salvos

​This is a permanent full-time position, based in Central VIC Salvos (Bendigo, Castlemaine and Maryborough), VIC. Salary and conditions are in accordance with Clerks Level 5 Award.

The ideal candidate will have

  • Diploma of Business Administration (or above), and/or demonstrated equivalent experience in financial and business management
  • Demonstrated experience in the recruitment and management of teams, specifically volunteer teams
  • Demonstrated experience in management of retail / commercial enterprises desirable
  • Victorian Driver's Licence
  • Complete TSA Financial Integrity Check
  • Ability to work onsite at a Central Vic Salvos site
