To deliver professional and consistent support to young men, women and families who are homeless or at risk of experiencing homelessness. To support the case management team in the ongoing implementation of case management plans and create a therapeutic environment within the crisis accommodation setting.
Youth Services - Upton Rd provides highly supportive & therapeutic youth refuge accommodation to young people & families experiencing significant crisis and homelessness.
The program works intensively with young people to address issues that contribute to their unique experience of crisis & homelessness, with a particular focus on assisting young people to:
All Upton Rd Youth Services staff work within a psychologically informed practice environment and are expected to work creatively towards ensuring that the support needs of all young people are the first priority.
The program operates a 24 hour, 7 day per week case management model and all staff are expected to actively participate in the life of the program and in the support of young people residing within.
This part time position is an 45 hr/fortnight position with shifts across weeknights and weekends. All applicants must have interest and availability in working a range of shifts across a 24/7 roster with shift times of 4:30pm-12am weeknights and either 9-5pm or 4:30pm-12am weekends.
