TSA Doorways is a holistic community service model designed to meet immediate crisis needs and build people's capacity to achieve greater independence.
Reporting to the Doorways Regional Manager (DRM), the Doorways Case Worker is responsible for providing case work support to community members who request material assistance and to those who would benefit from more specialised assistance.
The Doorways Case Worker provides support, guidance and encouragement within a case work setting, to community members who are wanting to make positive changes in their life. The Doorways Case Worker will also have the ability to explore with community members the deeper issues that have been contributing to their presenting situation, with a view to building longer term capacity and resilience.
We have a fixed term role available until April 2022 at 22.8hrs per week. The spread of when these hours can be worked has some flexibility and will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
