About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Gambler's Help Venue Support Worker! You will provide work in partnership with gaming venue staff and management to support the development and maintenance for responsible gambling environments. Additionally, you will educate venue staff and improve awareness of support services available for those experiencing gambling related harm.

Responsibilities include

  • Provision of RSG and associated face-to-face training to venue staff which ensures compliance within regulatory timeframes
  • Provision of Responsible Gambling Officer meetings for all gaming venues to assist venues to meet their requirement for RGOs
  • Provision of training to enable venue staff knowledge to signs of gambling harm
  • Support venues and encourage safer gambling environments by promoting best practice approaches
  • Programmatic record keeping and data entry, both RSG and associated training and GH Connect service reporting

This is a fixed term part-time position, 30 hours per week until June 2025, based in Melbourne Project 6, VIC. Salary and conditions are in accordance with SCHADS Level 5 Award.

You will have

  • Venue support workers must hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment at a minimum
  • Previous experience delivering training and facilitating group
  • A Current Victorian Driver's Licence
  • A Victorian Working with Children's Check
