If so, we have the perfect role for you … The Salvation Army (TSA) Independent School (YOS Lawnton) is now seeking a permanent, full time, Principal in Brisbane, Queensland to oversee the two campuses Lawnton and Riverview. Both campuses work with approx. 90 students in total aged between 14 and 18 years in grades 10, 11 and 12, that have disengaged from mainstream education due to individual, relational or social factors, to help them re-commence their education.
Reporting Directly to the GM Youth and with 3 direct reports including an Assistant Principal Teaching and Learning, Student Support Services Manager and Business Development Officer this role is crucial to the vision and mission of The Salvation Army.

The Principal will develop and implement initiatives to increase capacity across the school focussing on the design and delivery of educational policies, student welfare procedures, parent support processes, admin support, staff development and improved student pathways and outcomes. This role will also include responsibility for dealing with State and Commonwealth regulatory bodies, school compliance, state and federal government legislation and state-based accreditation.
