We are seeking a Safeguarding Consultant Salvation Army International (SAID).
Location: Open to all locations for a Part-time ( 2 days a week) opportunity.
To provide high level international safeguarding advise and expertise to Salvation Army International Development (SAID) to ensure the safety of children and adults at risk connected with our international projects worldwide.
The Safeguarding Consultant - SAID will be responsible for managing, recording and reviewing all the Safeguarding cases within the Salvation Army International Development department. This includes providing advice and coaching regarding the management of new and ongoing matters of concerning behaviours and allegations to ensure The Salvation Army meets its legislative, compliance and reporting requirements for safeguarding.
The Safeguarding Consultant will provide safeguarding advice and support, including project risk assessment review, to the Salvation Army International Development (SAID) team as required. This includes representing SAID/safeguarding at Practice Advisory Group (PAG) meetings as scheduled.
