The Organisation

Established in 1986, Tenants Queensland is a specialist state-wide community legal service for tenancy law matters and provides free tenancy law advisory services for residential tenants.

Tenants Queensland manages the Qld State-wide Tenant Advice and Referral Service (QSTARS) and has the following exciting employment opportunity.

The Role

We are looking for a competent financial counsellor, with a strong commitment to social justice, to extend our range of tenant advisory services for Queensland residential renters.

The Financial Counsellor will deliver financial counselling services from within Tenants Queensland, working closely with a second Financial Counsellor in our NQ region.  By using our established offices statewide, they will support renters facing financial challenges.

You must hold, or be eligible to hold, an associate or accredited membership of the Financial Counsellors Association of Queensland.
