Key responsibilities

You will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing behaviour support plans that adhere to regulatory standards and promote individual well-being. As a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing person-cantered behaviour support plans
• Conducting functional assessments and providing actionable recommendations
• Training and supporting stakeholders in plan implementation
• Ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Relevant qualifications in Behaviour Support, Psychology, Social Work, or related fields
• Must be proficient level
• Registration with a relevant professional body (e.g., AHPRA, AASW)
• Experience in Positive Behaviour Support under the NDIS framework
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to professional development and best practice
• Experience coordinating disability supports
• Familiarity with Carelink or similar CMS
• Experience report writing and reviewing plans of other practitioners
