KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide an information and reception service, ensuring timely handling of enquiries from members, affiliates, external stakeholders, and other members of the community making initial contact with Unions Tasmania, respecting confidentiality as appropriate.
- Coordinate and plan the logistics for key Unions Tasmania events, rallies, and conferences in consultation with the Secretary.
- Management of incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Coordinate the hiring of Unions Tasmania facilities and equipment.
- Co-ordinate Unions Tasmania’s Health and Safety Representative training program in consultation with the WHS Trainer including registering participants to attend, setting course dates, liaising with participants, external stakeholders, training accreditation requirements, and preparing materials.
- Assist the Secretary with diary management and meeting co-ordination as required.
- Liaise with suppliers of goods and services to Unions Tasmania to assist in the smooth running of the shared building.

This is a permanent part time role. The successful candidate will have flexible working arrangements, 17% employer superannuation contributions, and an annual salary of $68,583 (pro-rata).
