The Aboriginal Mental Health Support worker will provide a range of individualised psychosocial support to consumers, by working with the recovery model and using a holistic, person-centered approach. Establish links with Aboriginal communities & individuals.
This role is responsible for providing a range of individualised psychosocial support to consumers. Working with the recovery model and using a holistic, person-centered approach, the person will support the consumer to achieve their goals. The role will also establish links with Aboriginal communities and individuals within the Local Health District and Primary Health Network and identify barriers and solutions.
The role is part of Housing and Accommodation Support Initiative (HASI) programs that deliver specialist community based psychosocial support services for people aged 16 years and older, with serious mental illness
