What You’ll Be Doing in This Role

As a Carer for Hotel Services Support at Uniting Kingscliff, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents. Your responsibilities will include providing exceptional hotel services such as catering, cleaning, and laundry. Your aim will be to foster their independence and enrich their quality of life. We’re looking for dedicated individuals to join our team on a part-time permanent basis or casual shifts, depending on your preference.

Your Care Work Will Include:

  • Supporting Household Activities: Provide top-notch catering, cleaning, and laundry services while prioritising the dignity and independence of our residents.
  • Ensuring Safety: Implement appropriate manual handling techniques and food safety practices to protect both yourself and our residents.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Qualifications: Ideally, you’ll have a Certificate II in Hospitality or an equivalent qualification. Not qualified yet? No problem—we’re here to help you achieve that.
  • Experience: Previous experience in catering, kitchenhand, cleaning, or laundry services, or in other community care roles is valued.
  • Skills: You should be adaptable, empathetic, and resourceful, with a passion for living out Uniting’s values of compassion, respect, imagination, and boldness.
