About the Role:

The Client Contract Officer is part of Finance Shared Service ‘s Client Administration Team and provides a central point of contact for our Ageing clients as they move into Residential Aged Care. 

As an integral member of the Client Administration team, you’ll focus on issuing residency agreements and discussing all financial/contractual matters with the clients and their representatives.

Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Contribute towards the efficiency and effectiveness of the Client Administration Team, client facing activity of the Finance Directorate specifically in regards to Residential Aged Care Homes.
  • Discussion of financial arrangements and issue of Residency Agreements to all incoming Residential Aged Care clients.
  • Set up client’s initial financial billing arrangements.
  • Execution of Residency Agreements and other prudential obligations.
  • Liaise with staff at the Aged Care Homes on all incoming admissions and transfers.
  • Respond by phone and correspondence to client enquiries.
  • Follow up on return of signed agreements, interim billing arrangements & payment plans, means assessments and related matters.

About You:

  • Administrative, contractual and/or financial experience in the health or aged care industry.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Effective customer service skills, particularly if in the aged care industry.
  • High level of attention to detail and orientation towards quality in written documentation and records keeping.
  • Demonstrated ability to forge relationships and navigate a complex organisation & industry.
