Are you a passionate communicator who loves crafting engaging, easy-to-understand messages? Are you excited by the idea of making a real impact in aged care? Join Uniting as a Communications Specialist, where you’ll play a key role in supporting our Quality-of-Care transformation.

This is a part-time, fixed-term role with flexibility on working days. You’ll spend two days in our Pitt Street Sydney CBD office and enjoy the option to work half a day from home. Occasional travel to our facilities may be required but will always be planned.

What You’ll Do

As an integral member of the Quality-of-Care team, you will:

• Support with the development and implementation of a communications strategy to support transformational initiatives.
• Create and deliver engaging, user-focused content and training collateral that meets brand and accessibility standards.
• Align project communications with business-as-usual messaging to ensure consistency.
• Collaborate with other communications teams to prevent messaging fatigue.
• Support targeted and broad stakeholder engagement programs.
• Establish processes to track and report on stakeholder engagement activities.

What You’ll Bring

• Tertiary qualifications in communications, marketing, or a related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in internal or corporate communications.
• Outstanding copywriting and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• A knack for creating audience-focused content across multiple platforms.
• An interest in current affairs, storytelling, and communications best practices.
• Ability to navigate complex organisations, forge relationships, and manage through influence.
• Aged care communications experience would be amazing!
