This is a full-time funding dependant contract opportunity until June 2025 (with probable extension) that will be based at headspace Katoomba and work in the Blue Mountains community and some WFH
We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Community Development Officer to join the headspace team in Katoomba, supporting young people aged 12-25 with mild to moderate mental health needs. This role will allow you to build strong relationships with local schools, youth organisations, and councils while creating engaging spaces and programs for young people.
headspace is committed to improving the mental health and wellbeing of young people across Australia. As a Community Development Officer, you will help to raise awareness, reduce stigma around mental illness, and promote early intervention services. The program aims to connect with the local community, providing outreach and engagement activities to support young people, families, and carers.
