Join a dynamic, forward-thinking team at headspace Early Psychosis, where we’re dedicated to providing early intervention mental health treatment to young people aged 12-25 experiencing or at high risk of psychosis. As the Consultant Psychiatrist for the Mobile Assessment & Treatment Team (MATT), you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping a new service that provides holistic, youth-centred care.
This role offers flexibility with a mix of on-site work at headspace ACT and some work-from-home options. You’ll oversee psychiatric care, provide clinical leadership, and contribute to quality assurance processes, while working closely with clinicians and the leadership team to deliver high-impact, evidence-based services. You will be supported by a Career Medical Officer or Registrar, and a Clinical Director.
The headspace Early Psychosis service is a nationally recognised leader in youth mental health, specialising in early intervention and recovery-focused care. The service includes three core teams: Mobile Assessment & Treatment, Continuing Care, and Functional Recovery, and operates based on the Orygen EPPIC model, which is renowned for its effectiveness in treating first-episode psychosis.
