Role Purpose

Reporting to the Corporate Real Estate Manager, the Corporate Real Estate Administrator plays an essential role in supporting the team. This position involves creating and processing purchase orders, providing key data for budgeting, coordinating contract signings, as well as assisting with a range of administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Corporate Real Estate team in the delivery of a wide range of outputs, providing practical day to day assistance with projects and key tasks.
  • Manage and coordinate team diaries, internal planning and booking meeting rooms or external venues.
  • To assist in financial management including, creation and management of purchase orders and invoices and problem-solve discrepancies as they arise.
  • Process rental payments for all Leasehold properties within the portfolio and work with Finance team to ensure rents are paid in a timely manner.
  • Review rental payments in the Finance system on a monthly basis and raise any discrepancies with Finance.
  • Develop and design presentation of material for, internal stakeholders, internal sites (e.g., SharePoint), and reports.
  • Maintain a register of leased properties and financial commitments.
  • Assist the Corporate Real Estate team in negotiating property use agreements with internal Church bodies, including leases and MOUs, while also supporting the negotiation and maintenance of Residential Lease Agreements.
  • Assist with the reporting on financial performance and occupancy levels on a monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Assist the Corporate Real Estate team with any restacks required within the Corporate Office Portfolio.

Qualifications and Experience

Ideally, you will have at least 1-2 years’ experience working within the property sector with knowledge of property terminology and processes. You will have outstanding written and verbal communication skills with an eye of detail.

  • Ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders to work together to achieve outputs or key performance indicators.
  • Strong IT/computer literacy including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Attention to detail and able to proactively resolve issues and tasks as they arise.
  • Excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage positively with clients and colleagues alike.
  • Familiarity with the property industry and key terminology commonly used within it.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop skills further within the property industry.
  • Prior experience in a similar Corporate Real Estate Administrator role highly desirable.
