About the role:

This is a full-time (70 hours per fortnight) closed period contract until January 2026, located in Coffs Harbour/Nambucca 

About the opportunity:

Uniting is seeking an Early Learning Linker to join our Links to Early Learning team. In this role, you will support families experiencing disadvantage and vulnerability by providing access to quality early childhood education. Your efforts will help increase educational activity and reduce the disadvantages these families face.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help families locate, negotiate and access early childhood education providers.
• Implement ongoing contacts/meetings/home visits to assess and monitor child and family needs.
• Develop and maintain information and contacts for relevant medical/allied health services.
• Facilitate role modelling in the home to support parents as the first teachers.
• Provide community capacity building through collaboration with stakeholders.
• Advocate effectively on behalf of families, linking them to ongoing services.

Your Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma Community Services or related/ Diploma of Early Learning.
• Experience working with children and families.
• Understanding of challenges faced by children and families experiencing disadvantage.
• Ability to form and maintain relationships with colleagues, early childhood education providers, and other health and community service providers.
• Strong interpersonal, time management, flexibility, crisis handling and communication skills.
• Current NSW WWCC and current drivers license
