About the Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Officer to join our Home and Community Care team.
You will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining department / team management systems and ensuring relevant information is input on a consistent and regular basis while ensuring any maintenance completed adheres to corporate and WHS standards.
This is a full-time position covering the Illawarra and Shoalhaven area.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and maintaining department / team management systems
- Conducting specialised studies as required, providing insights into the operation of the department / team and organisation
- Enabling car and accommodation services to be provided in a safe and sustainable homelike environment
- Ensuring the maintenance work undertaken is compliant with corporate and WHS standards
Qualifications & Experience
- Trade qualification in a maintenance disciple or equivalent proven experience
- Drivers licence
- Detailed knowledge on the application and use of CMMS
- Demonstrated ability to maintain buildings and equipment to be compliant with legislation and or corporate standards
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Understanding of obligations of contractors
- Computer skills
