Are you interested in project managing a research project that seeks to contribute to a topical public health concern AND that gives you the opportunity to work in an organisation that aligns with your values?
If you are passionate about social justice and harm reduction and seek to improve the lives of marginalised people who inject drugs, come and join the team at Australia’s first supervised injecting facility, the Uniting Medically Supervised Injecting Centre (MSIC) in Kings Cross, Sydney. This is an opportunity for you to work in a supportive, flexible, and friendly work environment.
The Research Project Manager will be working with the Medically Supervised Injecting Centre (MSIC) Research Coordinator and external researchers. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Residue and Post Overdose Substance Testing (RePOST) study being conducted at MSIC. Activities will include managing the study implementation (sampling, consent, data collection), timelines, milestones, budget and deliverables.
For a confidential in-depth discussion or for more information, please contact MSIC Research Coordinator Mark Bartlett at 02 9360 1191.
We encourage you to visit and to come for a tour of the service before applying. Contact Mark to arrange a time. Also, for more information about MSIC visit our webpage here.
