About the role

  • This is a part-time contract for 12 months (40 hours a fortnight, hours/days to be agreed).
  • Health Manager Level 2 from $53 to $63 per hour depending on experience.

The Research Project Manager will be working with the Medically Supervised Injecting Centre (MSIC) Research Coordinator and external researchers. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Residue and Post Overdose Substance Testing (RePOST) study being conducted at MSIC. Activities will include managing the study implementation (sampling, consent, data collection), timelines, milestones, budget and deliverables.

 About You 

  • Tertiary Qualifications in a relevant discipline, OR relevant equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to work effectively in a close-knit open-plan environment.
  • Experience in the set-up, coordination, budget and monitoring, and close-out of research projects.
  • Technical proficiency in using various tools, applications, and systems.
  • Experience working with marginalised communities and knowledge of harm reduction strategies for people who inject drugs will be of benefit.
