About the role:

This is a part-time contract position until June 2025(28 hours per week), located in Oran Park NSW. Starting base annual salary of $72,843/$50.03 per hour (negotiable based on experience) plus super, plus access to generous salary packaging options.

About the opportunity:

As our Outreach Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of our mission, connecting with children, young people, and families in ways that truly matter. Working through various outreach locations, you’ll assess family needs, build trust, and provide tailored support that helps prevent the escalation of challenges.

Your work will involve:

  • Conducting family-focused assessments using creative and flexible engagement methods such as home visits, phone calls, and community outreach.
  • Building partnerships with local stakeholders and service providers to ensure accessible support for families.
  • Offering timely and responsive services that prioritise child safety, family well-being, and connection.
  • Collaborating closely with families and encouraging them to have a voice in shaping their futures.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in social sciences or related fields.
  • Experienced in conducting comprehensive needs assessments and safety planning.
  • Experience working with families and children.
  • Ability to work respectfully with Aboriginal and CALD families and can engage with community stakeholders effectively.
  • Current NSW Driver’s license and current NSW WWCC
